ONLINE FIREARM PURCHASES.
All firearm purchases made online must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer, where the buyer must complete a background check before taking possession.
BEFORE YOU BUY
It is your responsibility to ensure that the firearm and any included accessories are legal in Your State.
⚠️ New Jersey Residents
• New Jersey requires a Firearms Purchaser Identification Card (FID) to buy rifles, shotguns, and ammunition.
• Handgun purchases require a separate Handgun Purchase Permit (PPP).
• High-capacity magazines (over 10 rounds) are prohibited unless permanently modified to comply with NJ law. (can be done by us)
• Certain semi-automatic firearms and features may be restricted under NJ’s assault weapons ban.

AFTER PURCHASE & FFL INFORMATION
To complete your firearm transfer, the seller will need our FFL license information. Please contact us at ffl@madwolfus.com, and we will provide the necessary details.
PICKING UP YOUR FIREARM
Once your firearm arrives at Mad Wolf Armory, we will process it and contact you to come to start your paperwork and NICS check.
🔹 What to Bring for Pickup And The Steps Of The Transfer:
• A valid government-issued photo ID with your current NJ address.
• Your NJ Firearms Purchaser ID (FID) for long guns & ammo purchases.
• Make sure you have valid Handgun Purchase Permit (PPP) for each handgun being transferred. ( 30 days rule in place )
• Completion of Form 4473 for the background check. ( at location )
• NICS check must be completed and approved before taking possession of any firearm.
⏳ Background Check Wait Times:
• Processing time depends on the NJ NICS system and may take up to several days depending on volume.
• Denied background checks will not be refunded .
PHOTO ID REQUIREMENTS
Your ID must be current and show your NJ address. (have to match your FID)
💰 TRANSFER FEES
Mad Wolf Armory offers the lowest transfer fees in the area and discounts for military, veterans, and law enforcement.
💰 Standard Transfer Fee:
• $66 for the first firearm (Including NICS FEE)
• $50 for each additional firearm (same transaction)
🎖️ Military, Veterans & First Responders:
• $60 for the first firearm
• $45 for each additional firearm (same transaction)
Please note**
The transfer fee is $50, not including the state-mandated sales tax fee and will be added on top of your total of $66. Outgoing transfers are $50, in addition to any shipping and handling charges. Please ensure that you provide proper packaging for outgoing transfers; if packaging is not provided, an additional fee maybe apply.
also there is NO WARRANTY on transferred firearms. We recommend checking with Mad Wolf Armory first to see if we can acquire the same firearm for you at a comparable price. A storage fee of $2/day will be charged for every seven (7) days that any firearm is held after you have been notified. All incoming transfers must originate from a valid FFL (Federal Firearms License) holder. long term storage fee calculated and applied.
